What is the punishment of an adulterous person in the Bible? Any Knowledgeable Christian knows that it is stoning to death. Then why they are surprised when Islam has the same punishment.

if you understood the bible you would know that it is a two part book, the Old Testament and New Testament... the New REPLACED the Old... Love, Forgiveness, and Charity are the foundations of Christian Lives... NOT Revenge, Hatred, and Killing... the old testament is there as history and commentary... it is not the law we are to live by...

we do not stone our women, or honour kill them for not obeying their fathers orders... we give them freedom and equality... or at least we try... Muslims in the western world, abuse our freedoms and generosity, so that they can perpetrate the most violent of crimes on their families and others in the name of their religion... my heart goes out to the women and children murdered in Muhammad’s name... I just hope that we can get laws (Fatwa) that will make it difficult for these people to commit their crimes anywhere in the world, and face dire punishment when they do...

Cruel punishment for humanity

Adulturer should be forgiven and rapist should be punish accordingly.
Saudi apply Shariah and Hudud but rape cases is the major issue even when the women are covering. Where is the sanctity of humanity with this application of strict law? A 7 year old Malaysian child back in the early 80s was molested while waiting for her dad in one of Saudi girl school. Sharlini was kidnapped while dressin modestly after Quran class. Christians grew up with the word of Jesus, who tried to reform Judaism and the Bible (Old Testament). Christianity has since gone through reformations and has grown up (out of its ancient traditions taken from the Old Testament). It truley is a religion of tolerance and peace, whereas Islam cannot be reformed and never will go through a reformation, and thus will always be a brutal tribal cult, bigoted and intolerant and violent. We can all live peacefully with Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, and atheism. Not so with Islam, which is unfortunate for other 5 billion of us on the planet.

The answer is because the Christians ignored their Bible and the Muslims are not. Whose problem is this?, the Christian or the Muslims.
The Penal law of Islam deals with 3 entities. The Society (millions), the victims (thousands), and the criminals (hundreds). Punishment is severe, scary, and swift to prevent would be criminals from even thinking about it. This is why Islamic countries (that apply Sharia) have very low rate of crime. If you are really for human rights, you sacrifice the criminals, to compensate the victims and to protect the society. Any other approach will face problems like insufficient prisons, too many crimes, child crimes, repeated offenders, slow judicial system, etc.

Separation between religion and state

Religious laws shall be of no value in civilized societies, because these laws are against human rights, and do not give the individual his personal freedom, many religions are dogmatic in their teachings, and they want to control governments and impose their archaic fanatical religious laws upon the collectivity.

In many countries where civil governments are weak religions take the upperhand and control governments, infact civil governments do not exist at all in many cases.

People should be free from religious domination, and should be left free to choose their destiny without being brainwashed by sick religious fanatics, who through their religious propaganda twist the free minds and free thinking of entire populations from separating governments from religion.

Well, my friend at the present time the Chinese government, is helping the US dollar from falling much further, because it is giving credit to the US by not converting its US Dollar reserves into Euros, if China did convert its US Dollar reserves into Euros, surely the USA would go bank-rupt, and there would be a financial depression world-wide.

So in some way, people should be greatful to the Chinese gorvernment to maintain a certain degree of financial world stability.

I believe the Chinese government is trying very hard to keep religious fanatics from taking footsteps in Chinese soil, because religions are like a cancer, once they get hold of a nation, they are there to take over the minds, by brainwashing the simple and the naive, and leaving no room for free thinkers, but then, I believe that free-thinkers are very rare even in China nowadays.

As far as a civilized society is concerned, I still believe that any nation that denies freedom of choice to its citizens, and practices the death penalty, to me it is not a civilized society, and there are still a lot of un-civilized societies in the western hemisphere, as well as in the eastern hemisphere that fall into this category.

I believe the civility of a nation is measured on how it treats its people, and not how wealthy and powerful it is, as well as it falsifies itself in the eyes of other nations by demonstrating its availability to help others in moment of crises, and then making its own people suffering, this is what some nations are doing, they go out of their way to help others by spending supporting military assistance, and money and then keeping their people starving at home.

My friend! Anyone that practices any religion of any sort that practices capital punishment, as well as depriving its followers as a punishment the cutting of parts of their body to justify their religious practice, in my sense of judgement, these people and their religion are UNCIVILIZED, and they should be stopped by organized civil societies.

Infact these religious leaders, and their followers as well should be taken to the International Criminal Court for CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY.

Mind you, I am not an atheist, but I am against religions and religious leaders that hide behind the protection of religion to abuse the basic human rights that each person is born with on this planet.

And I tell you, that there are many religions that abuse these basic human rights that people are born with.

Celebacy, sharia laws, and many others that are part of the dogmatic teachings of many religions.

I wish that part of my posts will illuminate some, in becoming open minded, and detracting themselves from some fanatical religious practices that have been imposed upon them by past generations, and begin to think in the logical sense of respecting human rights, and people’s human dignity, rather than following blindly, imposed archaic religious practices that have been passed from generations to generation, without being contested for their validity.

Yes, my friend, it is still part of our freedom for each one of us to give his or her opinion, on any subject.

But then each of us is also free to decide for himself or herself to accept or deny other people’s opinions.

It is of the most important that people are left free to the freedom of expression, but unfortunately in some areas of this beautiful planet of ours, people are not free to express their opinions, and this makes me sad, but I do wish that things will change, and leaders will be illuminated to let people express their opinions freely on any subject.

But tyrants and bullies, dictators, and repressors would be out of business if this would happen, because their reign would collapse once people get their freedom of expression.

I must go to sleep to continue my dreams of a better society to evolve through freedom of expression.
