Lisin becomes Russian boss-billionaire

The Forbes list has seen Russian billionaire numbers double in 2010.


Russian billionaire Vladimir Lisin has seen an increase in his fortunes, according to Forbes magazine.

Forbes has listed Lisin as Russia’s richest man as his steel empire continued to flourish.

Other Russian billionaires also saw a higher accumulation of cash this year.

Forbes Russia said while Vladimir Lisin was in the top spot with $15.8 billion, technology and mining billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, who was on top of the list last year, increased his fortune to $13.4 billion. Prokhorov dropped to second place.

Oil, telecoms and retail tycoon Mikhail Fridman came in third with $12.7 billion.
