Hoping to carry positive momentum into their bye, the Ravens instead dropped their fourth straight game Sunday, falling to the Los Angeles Rams, 17-3, and moving to 1-5.
Here's how the Ravens' fifth loss of the season happened:
Turning Point
After the Rams went on a nine-play, 76-yard touchdown drive to open the second half, the Ravens fell behind 10-3. On Baltimore's ensuing drive, Zay Flowers coughed up a fumble and the Rams hit pay dirt again two plays later. The Rams didn't score the rest of the way, but the 14-point swing in less than two minutes put the Ravens in a hole they couldn't climb out of.

Veteran defensive lineman John Jenkins strip-sacked Matthew Stafford and recovered the fumble in the first quarter. Jenkins' recovery marked the Ravens' first takeaway since Week 2 and Jenkins' first forced fumble since 2015.

The Ravens fumbled the ball three times against the Rams, the second of which came late in the third quarter on a jet sweep that Flowers mishandled. Cooper Rush also threw an interception. LaJohntay Wester also lost the ball on a punt return near the end of the first half, though that was negated by a penalty.
QB Cooper Rush
Rush finished the day 11-of-19 passing for 72 yards and was replaced by Tyler Huntley in the fourth quarter. Huntley completed 10 of 15 passes for 68 yards and gained 39 yards on the ground, but the spark he provided came too late and didn't finish with points.
RB Derrick Henry
Henry had his most productive outing since Week 1, finishing with 122 rushing yards on 24 carries. It was his first 100-yard rushing game since Buffalo. Baltimore piled up 179 yards on the ground.
The Defense
Baltimore held Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford to a season-low 181 passing yards. Leading wide receiver Puka Nacua, who missed much of the game with a foot injury, had two catches. Los Angeles running back Kyren Williams had just 50 yards on 13 carries, though he did score a touchdown. The defense gave the Ravens a chance to win.
Up Next
The Ravens will enter their bye week before hosting the Chicago Bears at 1 p.m. on Oct. 26. Only four teams that started 1-5 have made the playoffs since the 1970 merger. The Ravens will have a steep uphill climb to become the fifth.
