Lamar Jackson exited the Ravens' 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots with a back injury and did not return.
He was ruled out near the end of the third quarter, with Tyler Huntley leading the Ravens offense the rest of the way in the Ravens' 28-24 loss.
Jackson left near the end of the first half after taking a knee to the back from Patriots safety Craig Woodson. Jackson was going to the ground at the end of a 3-yard quarterback read-option run.
"It's a bruise of some kind," Head Coach John Harbaugh said. "I don't know how serious he'll be. We'll have to find out in the next couple of days."
After the game, Jackson was in visible pain as he left the locker room.
Jackson was asked if it's been a terrible season from an injury standpoint after dealing with several ailments.
"Yes, it's BS, bro," Jackson said. "I can't control that. I'm on the ground. I'm down. I gave myself up. I got kneed in the back, but yes, for the most part, you can say that, because [I'm] getting injured, and then we're fighting for a chance to make the playoffs. I can't finish the game with my guys. It's BS."
Jackson said he got a Toradol shot in the locker room and tried to throw the football with a trainer, but was in too much pain to return.
"I'm mad, because I felt like the game was in our favor," Jackson said.
Jackson said he hopes he'll be able to play against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday in a game the Ravens must win to stay alive in the postseason hunt.
"That's the goal," Jackson said. "Do a little [MRI] scan tomorrow and see what it shows."
